So why is he worried about whether the vaccines work? Work against what, a harmless virus, which is what he said last year?
Obviously, he's worried about the side effects.

This is the same guy who said the virus was “just the flu”. How often does the flu cause “critical illness?” He is now worried about making the virus “worse”, but last year he was not worried at all, it was just the flu. He cites data from Israel which has only 10 million people. 4.7 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered. The data in Italy, Spain, UK, Germany and France (300mm total population) is that the death rate per infection is cut by 75% and the number of deaths is cut by 90% in every one of these countries which are just as “highly vaccinated” as Israel.
