All the brand new M-4s liberated in Afbidenstan will be tossed on the heap as soon they dont get a good daily scrubbing. They will search back to where they dropped their 50 year old AK and pick it up and start fighting with it.

Yeah, the AK-47 is reliable but that doesn't make it the best choice. It also lacks accuracy and shoots a mediocre round (the 5.56 is too but it's better than the 7.62x39). From the pictures it looks like the Taliban are ditching their AK's as quick as they can get their hands on U.S. weapons.
Given access to U.S. weaponry, hardly any forces will choose russian stuff of any kind.
Glad I am not the only one who thought this.
I will take an AK over an AR any day.
