Trump runs for Congress in 2022. Gets elected and then becomes speaker of the house.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you don’t have to be a member of Congress to be Speaker do you? I’ve heard that and I stand corrected.

The Constitution is silent on that. So it’s generally accepted that the House can pick whomever they want, member or not.

Nope not true. But with the RINOs they have in the house ( that is ncludes McCarthy) theres no way in hell he would ever get nominated

Trump does not need to be a member of Congress to be Speaker, but, to my knowledge, there has not been one from outside of their ranks.

It would carry greater weight if he was.
