which begs the obvious question: how many people who have not had the vaccine also had microscopic blood clots that don’t cause problems? This is not a real study until that is answered, anymore than I could say “50% of the people I tested after taking the vaccine were found to be obese”, therefore the vaccine must cause obesity.
Not ruling it out (the clots being from the vaccine), but this article is just plain silly without at least some scintilla of scientific rigor be applied to such a claim.
This is a old article. He did a test called a d dimer which can be used to screen for blood clotting. It is also elevated in inflammation, acute illness and even age. It is nonspecific but he interprets it to mean microscopic blood clots and hence the sensational headlines.

It’s useful information. The D-dimer test he had his patients take normally doesn’t have positive results among healthy people. This test has a useful history in medicine. Among the vaccinated, around 2 out of 3 have positive results. Excellent, usable information. The opposite of ‘silly’.
