We knew the swamp was deep. It would take decades to clean it out. And, if a president doesn’t pick a candidate of the swamp, where would he go?
I think Trump is playing it right now by endorsing MAGA candidates for the 2022 elections. If he can get simpatico, qualified people in Congress, that would be a heckuva good start.
On the other hand, look at DeSantis team in Florida. These are guys he can bring to Washington and hit the ground running.
