If there is a way to sneak in a single large dose of Ivermectin, that can help a lot. The
MATH+ protocol is 0.4 to 0.6 mg/kg per day. So 0.6 mg/kg is a reasonable safe dose.
Here are 0.6 mg/kg doses based on patient weight:
- 100lb (45 kg) -- 27 mg dose
- 125lb (57 kg) -- 34.2 mg dose
- 150lb (68 kg) -- 40.8 mg dose
- 175lb (79 kg) -- 47.4 mg dose
- 200lb (91 kg) -- 54.6 mg dose
This is triple the normal horse dose. So for horse paste, if the patient is 100 lb, then dose based on a 300-lb horse. Horse paste includes a measuring stick on the dispenser that shows the weight of the horse in pounds.
