WHAT??? Hundreds of thousands? Of Americans? Maybe tens of thousands, but even that seems high. I read 10k. That seems more in keeping with what’s going on.

One interesting question is how many foreign nationals are there in Kabul—that could be close to 100K.

When you do the math, 100,000 is possible, but likely on the top end. Figuring that we’re spending $100B a year there (our average, if you can believe it), then it comes out to $1M per person, if 100,000 people - certainly possible.
