Thanks for posting that. I was in high school when that happened. Our big football game of the year was on Thanksgiving morning. The night before we had a bonfire/pep rally. It was all about death to Iran. We burned effigies of the Ayatollah and there were speeches.

Carter was ridiculed to no end for being weak.

Last night I watched the last presidential debate between Carter and Reagan (1980). It is really amazing the parallels between Carter then and Biden today. Reagan, well, he was Reagan. One of a kind. I won't compare him to Trump.

I am not so sure there will be a hostage crisis. I think they will be shot on sight.
