Not a straw man. I have no desire for nation building at all. It was Bush's transformation of a war of necessity into nation building that was the major caused of the defeat in Afghanistan.

But that doesn't mean that history is like a VCR that you can just rewind, and to pretend that we can just take our ball and go home is childish.
