MOTUS did her work on these two operas. Yes Madame Butterfly is dated (per our Western post-Christian sensibilities) but Puccini wrote some beautiful music. I agree that Miss Saigon is ... well, average. But it certainly poked our collective nerves with a tale as old as time.

One thing about MOTUS that we do not get from Mx Obama nor Mx Jill - she has culture, knows what she is talking about and is classy.
