I wasn’t clear. I agree 100% with what you wrote and my description was referring to the chronic apologist who cannot discuss the topic w/o somehow demeaning the person _he_ doesn’t agree with, while subtly sliding the discussion away from particulars.
I find your posts judicious and your irritation quite justified. I meant my post to be in support of your accurate critique.
I no longer waste time with the other poster, who has, for me, been relegated to the ranks of the unnamed.

I know people who work in Henry Ford Hospital and this story is total B.S.
They are short staffed and have ALWAYS had nearby Canadian nurses fill in if needed.
There are Canadian nurses that are regular employees of Henry Ford Hospital, Grace/Sinai, and Detroit Receiving Hospital, and Harper.
I took a patient to DRH one night and joked with the Canadian nurses about how they suck at hockey because the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup.
Almost the entire E.R. was Canadians!!
