Somebody can’t do math. 400 rounds for $140 is not $0.03 per round. Try $0.35 per rd.
Years ago maybe, but .35 nowadays.
I usually get 325 rounds from Federal Premium for $32.
My favorite plinking caliber. Also great for my 11-year old granddaughter to train on.
Shooting sports is becoming just for the elite, or as the dems say, sophisticated. It’s becoming quite expensive to go to the range an shoot a couple of boxes.
The site shows a .22 Glock 44. The gun that was just used to kill that Chicago cop.
Just bought 200 for 33 at target sports.
Well, that’s inflation for you.
I bot a bunch of ammo for it.....9 cents a round.
The gun is like from the 50's.....and it's heavy. Hurts your wrist to shoot too many rounds.....
But it's fun to shoot!!!!
When I was a kid Santa always brought me a brick (500rds) of Peters HP Golden bullets. Lasted me a whole year .... until I got a semi auto.
Cheaper Than Dirt is notorious for price gouging. Find another source for data. Try AMMOSEEK.COM for erxample.
Maths is hard…
Used to buy a 50 rd box of 22 long rifle for 69 cents.
So is spelling :) I blame the unions.
You took the words right off my keyboard.
Does yours have trigger slap? I have to wear a glove with one of mine. I would not recommend mine to a beginner nor let one use it at the range. Have had to do a little DIY work on one also.
Have you had any of your old stuff misfire? I've had several Romanian rounds misfire.
Pretty funny here.
Little Air Park I live in is across the road from the city of Port Saint Lucie Florida.
I am in the county here and can shoot at my hearts content.
Go across that feeder road and IF I shoot I can get arrested.
Yes...I have had some misfired rounds...But not a lot.
And I've shot that pistol many times....
In digging through my tool shed I found three unopened boxes of federal .22s. 500 rounds in each box.
I remember paying less than $5 for each box maybe 30 years ago.
If I am ever arrested for anything no doubt the news media will say I had “Over a thousand rounds of ammo on hand! An arsenal!” with my four .22 rifles.
