Felt my first symptoms on Friday. Got tested Saturday, positive results back on Sunday.Took monoclonal therapy on Tuesday with my likewise infected wife.
The infection was always a mild one for both of us in comparison to most.
I felt slightly better on Thursday, and am feeling MUCH better today. My wife has felt slightly better, but it's slow.
This disease has been a butt kicker. Achy, fever, chills and sweats at first. Hard to keep concentrating the will to fight.
I am hopeful it did little damage, that I can go back to being active, and living without fear. I pray my wife turns the corner soon, the good news is, it was mild for her as well.
I’m glad you posted. I’m praying for your family.
So happy you got the monoclonal therapy - it really seems to make a difference.
“I felt slightly better on Thursday, and am feeling MUCH better today.”
Thanks for that good news.
Thank you for your update.
Prayers continuing...and, thankful that you were able to get the monoclonal therapy, and, that it seems to be working!!
Prayers also continuing for your dear wife.
So thankful to hear you’re feeling better!
Praying for both of you to have a full and speedy recovery. Did you have any difficulty scheduling your monoclonal antibody therapy? People in different areas seem to have some different experiences.
I will pray for you both. Were you both vaccinated? Nothing political. Just wanting to know if it helps when you get Covid is all.
My wife and I got the monoclonal therapy back in Feb. when we contracted COVID. Our kids seemed to be just fine but it definitely knocked us for a loop. We were able to get the monoclonal infusion within a few hours of being diagnosed and I really think it helped.
Praying for both of you.
