Sounds like it's too late for you, but here is a cautionary tale: A lifelong friend of my wife passed away 3 weeks after getting the J&J shot due to massive blood clots in her leg stump.
She was a long time diabetic, and had a leg amputated decades ago. The doctor found a few blood clots in her stump that was causing her pain, so she underwent surgery to have them removed.
During surgery, they found many more clots than anticipated, and she died a few days after surgery due to complications from the surgery, including excessive blood loss.
Now, were the blood clots caused or exacerbated by the J&J jab? Nobody knows, and I'm not making that claim, either. She had several comorbidities, including the diabetes, being overweight, and a heavy smoker.
But there was correlation involved.
So, after your thread “study” which one did you end up getting?
If came within minutes of dying for Covid and spent two lonely weeks in the hospital in isolation. THEN had to have brain surgery to install a shunt to drain my ventricles which had filled to capacity. I took the J&J shot.
True...and, didn’t Pfizer have a loooooong list of lawsuits, against them?
J & J here 3 months ago. Not even sore arm or any other problems. Ditto for Mrs Bonemaker.
"Ditto"
Do you have any information pushing you to that decision?
I agree but unfortunately mandates are becoming a thing in so many places. :(
How terrible, but glad you survived all of that.
Was your covid before, or after your shot?
I been sicker than shit last year, but passed my annual VA physical with flying colors. Like virtually every other Vet,
I refused the experimental vaccine.
“Although it also does genetic manipulation it’s based on established biotech. I’m really not fond of flooding my body with mRNA.”

Just about every cell in your body is “flooding” itself with mRNA every day of your life.
Just saw this.....there may be some useful info, at link?

(All about mandates/rebuttals.)
If I were to get one, it’d probably be the Novavax because it’s a more traditional method and the side effects are expected to be much lower.
Yeah but it’s MY mRNA made by ME!
“Yeah but it’s MY mRNA made by ME!”

Usually, yes. But sometimes it’s viral mRNA hijacking your cells’ protein making machinery.
Sigh. And I trust the J and J studies on its efficacy. It clearly seems to be the safer bet for young (teen/young adult) men with regard to heart inflammation risk. And I’ve learned clotting risks exist with all the vaccines. But I worry that there are concerted forces looking to phase it out so that we are in mRNA only land. Hence all this talk about it needing a booster or “supplemental” Pfizer shot in San Francisco. Then again Israelis need another shot too and they’ve all had Pfizer. But the mix and match is what gets me...
In other words, it would suck to get the JJ shot and the have it not count.
get half an ounce of bat urine, you should be okay.
Novavaxx is delaying their vaxx until Q4 .
Novavax delays Covid vaccine emergency authorization submission to FDA until fourth quarter
My wife got the J&J, and sure enough, she got the ‘rona with a breakthrough case, but it was done after a couple of weeks.
I’m immunocompromised and take a drug that seems contraindicated by the mRNA shots, so I was going to get the J&J shot if my wife did well, but got the ‘rona first.
Month in the hospital. Can’t take a jab for 2 months. By then, the Novavax may be available, and I’ll decide between the J&J and the Novavax.
