I just finished responding to a post about Leftists and us Conservatives having, against our better judgement, to defend their right to bear firearms under the Second Amendment even though we often feel they shouldn't...it touches on this very concept of their being unable to defend their idiocy on various issues because of the faulty logical underpinnings of their stances:

I too believe in my heart that like minded people allied with us are still in the majority overall, and it gives me hope.

We need to turn this ship around before it breaks up on the rocks, though. It may already be too late. But we need to try.
