The Big Three. Wow. I’m amazed to learn that they are still a thing. I haven’t watched a network news episode since the Clinton years. How do the networks justify a budget for them? They certainly don’t make any money.

Did Pravda make any money? Did TASS?

Given those examples, I don’t think we can accurately call the mainstream media “whores.” They are performing services for free. At least Pravda and TASS got paid in some fashion by the state.

ABC is owned by Disney
NBC by Comcast
CBS is CBSViacom

These CEOs and boards of these corporations have a duty to their investors to make a profit. If they do not make a profit then these divisions should be eliminated or sold off.

Their viewership must be down. Therefore, their ad revenue must be. Their news divisions should be cut.

Joe Rogan MAY have a higher viewership on some of his podcasts than ABC/NBC or CBS evening news.
