“YOU’RE TALKING” Is a common verbal device just pointedly describing a situation. It’s not personal, anyway.
But clearly our socialist betters are pushing this way. They are indeed going toward force...for everything, with their BLM Brownshirts to back it up. We are in highly dangerous times, and it’s NOT because of coronavirus 19. Which BTW is a piker.
How do we know symptoms are lessened, anyway?
I mean, people have all variety of reaction, including a long list of symptoms....and I’d gather MOST of us have average cold symptoms for the average length of time.
Well, if some actual mandate were to come out, I would 100% oppose it with you. The vaccines are great, but if somebody wants to roll the dice without it, let them. Most of them will be fine. Some will wind up in the hospital. Some will die. But that’s their choice to make.
But how many actually went to the hospital?
That’s the thing. It is NOT the bogeyman the communists want it to be.
For some it does get bad. But very few. Hell they had to give up the medical ships and special park hospitals because even at peak, not many were coming in to justify such.

Exactly...most of us are fine. Not even hospitalized. Even elderly.
But it’s our choice indeed, but obviously we’re being pressured by government forces as well as the citizenry. It’s become yet another religion for commies. Along with Diversity and Environment.
This will turn into strong-arming soon. And endless masking.
Since the start, it’s been roughly 40% with no symptoms, 40% with mild to moderate symptoms (like a cold or allergies), 5% become hospitalized, 3% go to the ICU, and somewhere between 0.65% and 1% die. So if you took a population of 1 million people and gave them all COVID-19, about 50,000 would go to the hospital and about 8,250 of them would die.
If you vaccinate that same group of 1 million, roughly 80 would die. Possibly fewer, as I haven’t accounted for the population skew for vaccinations (more older folks have gotten vaccinated). That’s a net difference of about 8,170 lives.
In addition early treatment with monoclonal antibodies is keeping those headed for worsening disease out of the hospitals and ICUs. The combination. of vaccination and monoclonal ab therapy has made a huge difference in the number of deaths
Well, we’ll have to disagree on whether it’s endemic or not. Much like whether there will be serious side effects down the road from the experimental medical treatments being forced on people, time will tell.
As far as prevention, in 17 years working at a major inner city hospital (former career) I’ve never seen the protocols put in place for a virus with somewhere around a 99% survive rate like they have been for the COOF. Yes, most hospitals mandate a yearly flu vaccine. Due to long term use and testing, that’s a completely different animal than the untested treatments being mandated now. I’ve also never seen prophylactic treatments for virusii suppressed like they have been. This is like the Ebola scare on steroids. My personal experience and the experience of people I know in the health industry tell me things are not as they are made out to be when it comes to everything COOF related.

Children are barely effected by kung flu. I didn’t have a choice how I got kung flu immunity. I got it pre vaccine hysteria. And even now, I wouldn’t get it. If you want it. Fine. Get it. When a government of people that hates every fiber of my being tells me to do something with 24/7 propaganda Something is rotten.
Except that not everyone gets it.
Even the Spanish Flu didn’t nearly infect everyone in the US. And even conservatively it still has this one beat as far as apparent CFR, if that is accurate.

SARS and MERS have not necessarily “disappeared”.
And they are MUCH worse than this piker.
As usual, they don’t seem to be as contagious but are very dangerous.
Meanwhile all the scaring about this COVID 19 chalks up mostly to “it’s spreading!” while it doesn’t really amount to too much. Except to people who are very vulnerable. We should focus on people very vulnerable. That means more than just “old”.
My mother had a cold. She’s over 80 and seems frail and even has a form of COPD. My active and independent MIL died a few weeks later, under 80 but very fat, and also pre-diabetic and having a mysterious cough the previous 2 years. Also seemed to have high BP (we found meds but she never mentioned it).

I didn’t feel that sick and my parents bought the cutest p.j.s. They were white with red spots! Got to show them off to our neighbors by modeling in front of our living room window. Also got a lot to popsicles.
