I watched the stream of the event the prior morning. She just didn’t have it and you mess up in that kind of event, can lead to a serious injury. This isn’t like a basketball player suddenly going cold at shooting in a game.

It would have been acceptable to have this conversation and discussion PRIOR to committing to the Olympics. She cannot says she didn't understand fully the commitment it takes to follow thru with Olympic competition because she has done it before.

She is a quitter and now will be always known as such. When the chips were down she melted like a snowflake. She failed at courage, perseverance, fidelity, loyalty, patriotism and the Olympic spirit. Now she is making excuses.

I could see it in her face and performance during the prelims. She was making mistakes I'm sure she hasn't made in competition in many years.
