nonsense.
you can’t stop coercion by authority without equivalent power. for example: taxes will be collected without your consent or action. it happens no matter what you do. i think God would never hold you responsible for what the gov’t chooses to do with the taxes you pay.
your own actions are your responsibility, however. you can only control your individual actions. you would be a “fool” if you did something that would immediately result in a worse situation. that’s taking the greater of evils route, which is nonsensical. you always take the lesser of evil route if you have any power in the situation.
yes God permitted those despots, just as he permitted/permits lucifer to do what he did to Job and continue to do to all of us. do you have a problem with God allowing that?
that’s ok, you haven’t been the first one here on this site to call me naive and undiscerning. good thing ad hominem means nothing to me. if you’ve got an argument i haven’t already heard, i’m interested. otherwise, moving on.
It's not ad hominem. Apparently you don't know what that means, either. My comment was whether or not you understood the nature of your proposition, or the meaning of the passages you were questioning. Clearly you did not, and have not yet proven that you did.
So . . .
