After attempts by duplicitous Democrats, a judge has ordered California’s Secretary of State to include conservative pundit Larry Elder on the September ballot to recall Governor Gavin Newsom. This comes after three days of leftist hackery in their attempts to subvert one of the highest profile candidates in the race.
Harmeet K. Dhillon reported, “Judge orders California to include Larry Elder on the ballot in California recall election. Says tax returns were never required in the first place for a recall as opposed to a primary election.
Some said the CA criminal Rats must be afraid of Larry Elder.
I scoffed at the idea but clearly someone is and they proved it by trying to keep Elder off the lengthy list on the recall candidates.
Salud to Harmeet Dhillon and her team. A wonderful victory!
I just sent an email to my sister in California. She said she would vote for him based on my recommendation.
Elder does not have a chance in H*ll of being Governor.
That’s probably true, unfortunately. Other than those of us who are political junkies, who else even knows or cares that he’s running? Let alone the fact this is California we’re talking about.
NICE, I contributed $100 to Larry yesterday. I love that guy. I have no idea how well he would govern but I do know that he will do the right thing every time and right now that is enough for me.
Well, that much is a safe bet, but why did the SOS want to keep him off of the ballot?
Obviously not because the ‘Rats are worried about the recall. But perhaps the notion of Elder getting involved in electoral politics is exactly the sort of thing they worry about.
I suspect they’ll try to poison him next.
Probably not, but in a field of 42 candidates, he doesn't need a large percentage to win.
Is this a biggest vote total wins, or do they have a runoff?
This assumes California will vote out Newsom. I wouldn’t bet on it.
I don’t know why my out of state FRiends keep saying that. Question 1 on the ballot is the recall. The task is for all 43 candidates to generate enough buzz the get a majority to vote yes. Newsom’s a d**k and there’s no personal loyalty to him among the electorate. He won because he had a (D) after his name. Bearing in mind that it all mail in voting with plenty of opportunity to cheat, I still give question 1 about a 25% chance.
I predict the right will coalesce behind elder, whereas the leftist vote may be splintered. If question 1 passes, then the election is based on plurality. You could easily find the winning candidate pulling only 20% of the vote. If question 1 passes, I give elder about a 40% chance of getting elected
So are the odds against it? Yes, but not overwhelmingly. Don’t write this off
DEMOCRATS CHEAT.
Are they gonna have debates?
I’d pay to watch Elder torch Newsome on television.
If the vote to recall is won. The person with the highest # of votes wins. No need for 50%.
He just has to bleed enough votes from NuNazi and that would be a win.
Sorry to hurt your feelings. By all means support Elder.
Donate to his campaign. Vote for him. He won’t be Governor of CA.
Even a GOP Candidate left of former RINO Gov Arnold could not
win in CA. So don’t feel bad when Elder loses.
Now if every other so-called GOPer would GTFO of the race and consolidate the non-dem vote.
As it was when Gray Davis was recalled, it’s a two-part ballot. The first part asks if you want to recall Nuisance. Then it asks which of the other candidates you choose to replace him. If the first part passes by 50%+1, whichever candidate has the most votes is the next governor, immediately. They don’t need a majority, just a plurality, even if that plurality is 10%. Nuisance cannot be on the list.
