Before you go off and play Francis Marion or Mosby why don’t you fight the grassroots political battle first. Do what Trump has asked us to do take over the GOP. Go to the precinct meetings volunteer to stuff envelopes, make phone calls, canvas etc. Propose and vote for non-RINOs & non-country-clubbers for party offices and as local candidates. Will you get everything you want at first of course not. You might get something, but you might not. It will take time and perseverance. You’ll just be viewed as an interloper at first but with effort you gain trust & influence.
Sounds too hard doesn’t it !
To have any hope of applying any useful pressure in a place where it is needed, I will have to move to another state.
I realized this long ago, and I find it frustrating that the places that need my help are beyond my effective reach.
But yes, I put up one helluva fight in my state back in the day, and I and my allies secured a lot of improvements in the makeup of my state government and our federal representatives and Senators.
But as i've said, my state is not where the problems lie.
