In 1960, Cuba was the most prosperous country in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The first wave of Cuban immigrants in 1960 were the business owners and the professional class. Most of them traced their ancestors to Europe. Most of them voted Republican.
The second wave of Cuban immigrants that began in 1980, and continues today, are working class. Most of them trace their ancestors to Africa and the Caribbean. Most of them vote Democrat.

Those folks coming across our southern border are among the most lawless and violent people in the world.. They live their entire lives behind walls, bars and concertina wire.. These people didn't make very good South Americans, why would we expect them to be any different in the North..?
And no matter what the media says, the vast majority of those coming in are young men of military age. They are a murderous people and will continue to be so...
