Our health system was overloaded. The measures that we were told to take, and that we took, worked to normalize the system. Without them, the Javits Center and the ship would have been utilized.

Somehow sending sick people into nursing homes was not the measure that Cuomo took that most people were very happy with.

That was a pretty high price to pay to keep the hospitals from being overloaded when both the Samaritan’s Purse tents and the Hope ship went unused.

That was Cuomo’s decision and he was wrong. I have posted elsewhere on the Internet that he missed his chance for heroic greatness. Not to mention the lost lives.

I forgot about Samaritan’s Purse. They are a wonderful group of people, and those who know about their effort are very grateful.
