.22 is not sufficient for self defense.
It’s great for target practice, I recommend a Browning Buckmark.

Browning Buckmark? No. Large and finicky. It’s way down the list in my opinion (and I have one).

I like my Buckmark. It is very accurate and is reliable.

I agree 9mm is minimum for self defence, but a .22 in the brain pan works on deer and should work on a perp. I suppose I might be nervous in a pinch and be an inch off, but my Buckmark is easy to hit a quarter at 10-20 feet. If I was going to arm myself it would be with a .45 and aiming would be within 6 inches at 20 ft. I would rather have a .22 than a baseball bat though.
