There are now 21 states with Constitutional (Permitless) Carry, 21 States with Shall Issue carry, and 8 states with May Issue (effectively no issue in Hawaii and New Jersey) carry.

Tennessee did not pass “Constitutional Carry”. It is a weak attempt to appear conservative.
What this law does is EXEMPT people from an existing “intent to go armed” law IF certain criteria are met. I’m keeping my permit, and will make sure to pay for it until I’m in the ground, unless they take it away from me.
My permit allows me to carry in places where the “Constitutional Carry” law does not.
