I think it should be recess appointment. If Democrats don’t like it, they can return to challenge it.

Anyone else see certain ironies and hypocrisy?
We are told that Democrats in Washington need to change the filibuster rules, so that they can vote on legislation. We are told it is not “democratic” to have filibusters which impede voting on legislation.
But in Texas, we see Democrats flee the state, in effect, creating a filibuster, and due to lack of a quorum, preventing votes on legislation.
So then, in some cases, Democrats want to get rid of procedures which impede voting on legislation they favor.
But in other cases, they are in favor of impeding voting on legislation they oppose, to prevent the legislation from being voted on.
Put out a $10,000 “Wanted-Dead or Alive” bounty on every fleeing Demonicrat legislator.
Why? We have Texas Ranger. And Chuck Norris.
The value of the flight, the extended accommodations in DC, the meals, these are things being paid for by others. The total cash value should be determined and the per person value should be 1099’d to each of these scofflaws as income, upon which SS, Medicare, and federal taxes are due to be paid.
