Depends on what professional options you turn on. Grammar and style vs grammar and whatever they coded in this week. But it’s been there for a while. I definitely remember “more business” suggestions in Word 95.

I tell my students to turn it off — when they use it they learn nothing, as they just click on the suggested fix without thinking.

I was typing up a Word version of a travel journal from a trip I made a few years ago. Was typing about the black panther I saw at a zoo and MS kept capitalizing black panther!!

I use Office 2010, nothing further, and LibreOffice. Everything since 2010 (2013, 2016, 2019, 365) keep taking away functionality was in 2010 and earlier versions.
