It barely qualifies as a “riot”. By Antifa and BLM standards, January 6th was a Sunday School picnic. No graffiti, no fires, just a couple of broken windows. Originally, it was announced that the damage would cost about $20,000. Now, it’s grown to $1.5 MILLION, probably includes lots of $600 toilet seats and $800 hammers.
Compared to what happened in 1954 when the Puerto Rican terrorists shot 5 Congressmen.

if i were to guess, a significant number of computers and other IT equipment will be the largest part of that number since there is no way to really know if they were compromised. Its very easy to quickly compromise a computer, printer, switch, etc. if you have physical access to it.

In the immediate aftermath of the event in question, The Turtle, i.e. Mitch McConnell, immediately took to his trusty lectern in the U.S. Senate to refer to it as an “insurrection”, thereby giving license to his political enemies to do likewise.
Why do people, nominally conservative or Republican, do such things?
