Politico reports a stunner today: the climatistas are begging President Biden not to be too tough on China for human rights violations, or anything else, because . . . it might be bad for the climate!

Over 40 progressive groups sent a letter to President Joe Biden and lawmakers on Wednesday urging them to prioritize cooperation with China on climate change and curb its confrontational approach over issues like Beijing’s crackdown on Hong Kong and forced detention of Uyghur Muslims. . .
The progressive organizations, including the Sunrise Movement and the Union of Concerned Scientists, “call on the Biden administration and all members of Congress to eschew the dominant antagonistic approach to U.S.-China relations and instead prioritize multilateralism, diplomacy, and cooperation with China to address the existential threat that is the climate crisis,” their letter reads. “Nothing less than the future of our planet depends on ending the new Cold War between the United States and China.” . . .

Sounds like Beijing’s money has been well spent. Not bad influence for a “developing nation” that is exempt from international climate accords.
If the climate collapses we won’t have a climate anymore. Hence, worries about the climate go away. No climate, no climate worries.
What could they possibly mean by “climate collapse?” They are like idiot children who have been given loaded guns to play with.

Agreed. Look at how much the Dims cheered for Russia as Reagan was winning us the cold war. But as soon as Russia quit being communist the Dims starting hating Russia with a purple passion.

We have been trying to get China to ‘cooperate’ since we rescued their butts in the Boxer Rebellion. AFter the Great Leap Backward, we tried again by pushing manufacturing and the concepts of capitalism.
How’s that working out for us?
Do these hypocrites drive a car and have a/c? If yes they can STFU. Plus they are racists and bigots because they want to deny improving living conditions in 3d world countries.
So the take away is we need to support slavery in the most polluting nation in the world, so the cleanest nation in the world can marginally improve their carbon footprint.
