Yup. The last heat wave wasnt normal.
But, what the hell’s normal?
Tell you what though. There are some real nervous people round here because its so dry. Makes for one hell of a range fire.
NW AZ.
BTW. the reason that Lake Meade is so low has nearly nothing to do with this drought.
It has everything to do with Las Vegas and California.
Vegas has way over built.
Phoenix is also over built and will suffer as a result.
They whine and cry in CA but, a whole lot of the places they built was at one time desert.
Vegas would be nothing without that piped in water.
The greenies seem to complain that AC is bad. I wonder how many of them are running it 24/7.
And to think, there was once plans to build two more dams on the Colorado River in Az. One before entering the Grand Canyon and one after.
Actually, the all-time low for Lake Mead is “empty”.
It ain’t there yet.
Yes indeed! We actually got a little rain here several days ago. I remember many summers here in Northern Utah where we wouldn’t get a drop of rain in July and August!
Everything has to be a fu*king crisis!
Indians. Hot summer is all currently 100 in Bakersfield and was 65 in orange county when I left this morning expect 99 to 100 in so or this weekend when I get there
Heat helps sweat off those lockdown pounds. But why isn’t that heat over Cali/Nevada in the 3rd map gif moving with the rest of it?
Just getting Antifa acclimated to the heat they are going to endure in the afterlife.
What they need to do in this desert is start capturing the water run off from the monsoons. Over 90% of that water evaporates according to those who know a thing or two about it.
In Ca they need to start getting water from the Ocean for the cities and leave a lot of the reservoir water for the farm crops.
None of that will happen though.
Start growing and managing the forests. These dumb clucks cant figure it out. When you let vast amounts of forests burn you reduce the rainfall.
It snowed most of the day on the 2nd. I hear it’s hot some places,
Between the HAARP and NOAA activities in Alaska, I’m wondering if they are related. They have had a large contingent down the road, can’t help but wonder if the NOAA folks are recording changes in weather patterns. They are a tight lipped group.
