Start a GoFundMe account, hire a good attorney and take on the DA. I cannot believe they could find a jury in Texas that would convict. Yes it’s still an injustice but there is nothing left to do but fight.
Big-city Texas is just a blue as other rat-hole cities!

In Austin, they can find jury that will convict if the defending attorney doesn’t fight it.
Possibly San Antonio too.
Both are little slices of California infecting Texas.
