That was a fantastic game. I’m all for the Czechs now.

It was a great game! The Czechs played much better than expected. However, they will have a tough game against the Danes in the quarterfinals. But at this stage all the teams are difficult...

PS Lots of Dutch fans tried to make a political statement in Hungary's capital by wearing rainbow colours. Some of them were stopped by the police, the rest are now on their way home, tails between their legs...

Maybe things are changing even in Holland, at least in Amsterdam. The super liberal city where everything has been allowed, but where the COVID-pandemic has stopped visitors from frolicking about in the city, appears not so keen on returning to the old ways: Press release

However, we do not want to go back to what we saw before the pandemic, where massive crowds in the Red Light District and the city's entertainment areas caused a nuisance to residents. Visitors who respect Amsterdam and the people of Amsterdam have always been welcome and will, of course, remain so. Visitors who treat our residents and heritage with disrespect are not welcome. The message we have for them is: don't come to Amsterdam.

The municipality has prepared several public campaigns in collaboration with amsterdam&partners. One of these campaigns, “Stimulering gewenst gedrag” (Stimulating desirable behaviour), focuses on combating undesirable or nuisance behaviour. This campaign will be deployed both online and physically in the Red Light District and the city's nightlife areas.
