I have a friend who had an oceanfront condo in South Palm Beach. They were having problems because the concrete was made with ocean water and was dissolving the rebar.

You’re right on this... none of ‘em have failed. None of them ‘tip’ ... pilings going down to bedrock is the norm... and yeah Florida doesn’t have sinkholes in Miami...

Thanks, good point. I believe this building was built in 1981? When the awful news first broke, I thought maybe it was built in the 1990s. When did the Chinese break into our construction market?
