I never got the upset about posting excerpts from blogs.

We post excerpts from Newsmax, Fox, WaPo and countless other orgs, why not view blogs in the same context?

I don’t own a blog, never posted from one, all I know is I appreciate reading these Free posts.

I personally am more tolerant than, er, ahem, some...and I don’t have a problem with an occasional post from a personal blog.

The difference is, there are some people who will start dozens of threads with an excerpt from their blog, with the express intent of driving viewers to their blog to drive up the statistics on views.

Those people don’t even participate in the threads they start. You never see them chime in or respond.

I do have an issue with that. Not what this poster has done...

The idea is that by publishing only a sentence or two they are trolling for hits on their blogs to jack up their revenue.   If they have a story to tell FReepers, they could give us the whole text.   Let me say 'Sean_Anthony" is at the top of the list of Blog Pimps because he never stays on the forum to discuss what he posts. Hit and run click counts is anti-American, but wait he is Canadian anyway.
