The problem I have with this is that most people, myself included, do not understand the emotional and mental toll exacted when taking a life. Militaries are drilled to not look at people as human but as targets, but when the average citizen takes up arms, the story changes.
If we get to a hot civil war, the toll on Americans will be much greater than the lives lost.

Dear rarestia, I understand your concern. You have the right of it. Consider that when it comes to life or death conflict, there is no second place. Only dead losers. This is why it will take a generation for those of us who survive to struggle with our respective consciences over the deeds we will and must perform. The alternative is ever so much worse. For me, it has always been a simple calculus: My life and the lives of my loved ones or theirs. KTF {Kill Them First).
