This seems to be the mentality at the top of the FBI nowadays. The same mentality that infiltrated undercover agents and informants into the Capitol crowd on 1/6 to act as agents provocateurs. Ditto the Whitmer "kidnapping" in which the ones calling for action turned out to have been working for the FBI. The Democrats want a 1/6 commission? Okay, and the Republicans should also conduct a 1/6 commission and subpoena the THOUSANDS of hours of withheld surveillance tapes and grill Chris Wray on how many FBI agents he infiltrated into the crowd.

Why not? The FIB has had the green light from the GOP to assault Trump supporters for FIVE years.

The GOP provided not a shred of substantive Congressional oversight of the FBI in FOUR years of the Trump admin.

The coup is bipartisan in nature and the attitude/actions of the FIB is a reflection of that.
