Putin’s universes us one rooted in the reality of global power politics and confrontation, including on the personal level. He knows who he is, where he is, and what he wants to do – which is to restore the old Soviet Union and the KGB je worked for and loved.

Imagine both getting a question about Joe’s pipeline quid pro quo, shelving America’s Keystone XL while rewarding Russia for hacking our Colonial Pipeline by approving its Nord Stream 2 pipeline making Moscow dependent on Russian energy, you know, the thing.
