Early in the primaries, I thought Mayor Pete had a shot. He's young. Appears to be charismatic. But the Party thinks that America is not ready for an openly gay President so they offered Mayor Pete a cabinet position if he quit campaigning so he did that. So all of a sudden, it was just him and the aging socialist Bernie Sanders. The rest is history.
