The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Quarantine the sick. Protect the vulnerable. Hang the guilty. Free everyone else.

You betcha. Talked to my doc yesterday. He asked whether I’d had a Covid
shot. I said no. “All of the supplements I take keep my immune system strong”.
He actually prescribes supplements because he went to med school in Nigeria, which are not funded by Big Pharma. He said, “OK. Go home now. See you in six months.” We both laughed. and I left.
