My daughter runs the covid unit at the local nursing home. They eventually got it under control to the point that they shut down the unit. She said they tried the HCQ protocol for awhile, but they couldn't tell how effective it was. She said we know so little about this virus. Some of her patients would come down with covid and be near death one day, and then suddenly bounce back like it was nothing without HCQ. Some of them would hang on for two weeks or more with the HCQ and eventually expire. My neighbor hung on for ten days and suddenly greatly improved to the point of being moved out of ICU. He was getting out of bed, feeding himself, etc. Suddenly two days later, he died.
My daughter did say they have found much better ways of treating it than when it first appeared. But, they weren't really able to determine the effectiveness of HCQ.
The results in India from Ivermectin look impressive though.
