I know I’m in the minority but I hate coffee.
My father didn’t drink it so it was never in the house. It’s an acquired taste to be sure. To me it’s just bitterness and aftertaste in a cup.
I kind of chuckle to myself when I think of the gyrations people go through to make it palatable.
I agree. If you can't drink coffee black, it's not your drink.

You should have seen me this winter working up a mulled cider recipe, lol. I probably have a couple dozen different spices I’ve tried. The Amish turned me on to the stuff. It is a great winter drink. It was a real shock as to what vanilla beans cost though.
It seems instant coffee has changed a great deal in the last couple of years. I think the companies are putting fillers in the mix now. I still grind my own beans sometimes. This young man seems to have it down to a science. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Sela-8BF9Q
I agree.
I love the smell, but don’t like the taste so much. I can do without it.
My parents were OK with coffee, but now that may dad is gone I find mom is not that much a fan at all. Dad was definitely a fan, although he never was big on all this fancy garbage. Hated Starbucks. “Burned coffee” as he saw it.
People are nuts about coffee and about alcohol, like it’s the greatest thing ever. I don’t like either. The latter for various reasons.
