On Monday night, TGP’s Jordan Conradson investigated the Homewood Suites in Scottsdale, Arizona after receiving a tip that it was an illegal immigrant safe house. The hotel is located at 9880 N Scottsdale Rd.
When Conradson arrived at the hotel, every entrance was barricaded, and he had to park down the street. He walked up to the hotel and greeted some officers.
Conradson: what’s going on here?
LES Officer: You actually need to leave the property it’s actually a closed hotel.
Conradson: Oh, so what’s going on?
LES Officer: This is a private property man.
Conradson: But what’s going on?
LES Officer: If you want to get information for that you need to go to endeavors.org.
Conradson: I heard that they were harboring illegal immigrants here. Is that true?
LES Officer: You can go to the endeavors.org website and they’ll give you as much information as they can.
Conradson: Who do you work for?
LES Officer: I’m contracted with LES, it’s a law enforcement contract service company.
Conradson: Why aren’t people allowed on the premises?
LES Officer: You can go to endeavors.org to get information for that other than that this is closed this is private property from the company that’s here.
Endeavors.org is the website for Family Endeavors, a San Antonio nonprofit tied to the Biden administration. They received an $87 million no-bid contract in March to clothe and shelter illegal immigrants. They then received ANOTHER contract for $530 MILLION shortly after.

If true, this is even worse than I thought.
When you are ashamed of what you are doing, when you are breaking the law, you hide it!
This is the enemy in action, the US government has turned on its own citizens and is trying to destry us.
Many stores (A e, Bev Mo London Gold) and restaurants all within walking distance. Also one of the hubs of the local Jewish community. This is an upscale area selected for these illegals.
When Trump's President again, the first thing he needs to do is END the 'non-profit' tax write offs... 99% of these rip-offs are liberal so-called do-gooders who damage the social structure... (yes, these are the non-profit types that brought us the 'homeless' mess... and thousands of other liberal/commie horrors)...and yeah, now they're 'protecting illegals...
Disgusting. One wonders how many more millions of OUR money are being used to house more illegals, thus working to destroy our country.
Cool. Free rent, free food, free medical, free everything. Where do I sign up?
That is very interesting!
I saw three people this weekend wandering near my home who clearly couldn’t afford to live in Scottsdale.
I am going to look into this!
...
It looks like this hotel has been closed and taken over by SJW.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Phoenix/Scottsdale - CLOSED
9880 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85253
I might drive by later today
I might stop by and check it out later today.
There has been quite a bit of unusual activity off Shea since Aug 2020.
Also a sizable jump in crime
Wow...they are bringing these people to nice areas.
Figures....
We’ve noticed the same here in North Phoenix in the grocery store near our home.
So the REIT admits they needs a zoning change to make the sale to save their bankruptcy, but lo and behold they don't need a zoning change to make it a bus stop for illegal aliens.
This could be stopped in court post-haste if there was any kind of conservative group in Arizona willing to challenge this kind of blatant bullshit. At the minimum a lawsuit would bring out the optix.
AzzRepub, May 28, 2021: "A vacant north Scottsdale hotel is set to start operating temporarily as a detention facility for migrant families, but the property's mortgage holder is battling the plan in court. The former Homewood Suites hotel at Scottsdale and Mountain View roads, which is owned by real estate investment trust Woodbridge Hospitality, has signed an agreement with Endeavors, a nonprofit contracted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. According to the agreement, Endeavors will manage the property until Sept. 30...according to Ben Miranda, a spokesperson for the nonprofit...Endeavors is ready to start operating the property as what he calls an "emergency family station center" for migrants.
Miranda said families would stay at the property for no more than 72 hours. Endeavors will connect the migrants with sponsors in the U.S. and provide them with transportation to the bus station or airport so they can reach their final destination, he said.
The migrants will not be allowed outside of the hotel, and ICE officers will be on the property, according to Miranda.
Woodbridge Hospitality, which has filed for bankruptcy and has defaulted on mortgage payments since May 2020, is trying to close the sale of the property with a company that intends to convert it into an apartment complex, according to court records.
The sale of the property, at a price of $17.5 million, has been delayed as Woodbridge works with Scottsdale to rezone the property so the new owners are allowed to move ahead with their plans.
Woodbridge's lender, financial firm Wilmington Trust, filed a lawsuit against Woodbridge in Maricopa County Superior Court in April, asking the court to appoint a receiver that would safeguard the property and prevent it from operating as a detention facility.
Wilmington argues that using the hotel to house migrants will impact the property's condition, thereby decreasing its value.
The firm also argues that Woodbridge has breached its loan agreement, signed in 2015, in many ways.
The contract stipulates the property is not allowed to operate as anything other than a hotel, and that it must comply with city code, according to the Wilmington court filing.
Wilmington lawyers say Woodbridge would not be in compliance with city code if it operates as a detention center because the property is not zoned for that purpose.
It is unclear if the current zoning would allow the property's use as a detention facility. The status of any zoning case related to the sale of the property is unclear, and Scottsdale officials did not immediately respond.
But attorneys for Wilmington say the sale of the hotel is contingent upon the city allowing the property to be converted into an apartment complex and that the property should operate as a first-class hotel per its agreement with Woodbridge."
It’s true. That is a very ritzy zip code. Residents are planning as we speak. There is going to be a rally at the hotel tomorrow. The developers in Scottsdale will not be happy with this.
That’s 5mins from my house.
Will take a look tomorrow 6/2 & report back.
