My father was at the Battle of the Pusan Perimeter, my uncle fought at the Battle of the Bulge, and my great uncle fought, and was killed in action, at Saint Mihiel Salient.

Thanks for that. Most of the list is not in the early stages of WWII, interesting in that regard.

Been drawn into looking into my family history and discovered that we have fought in every war/conflict since the 1600’s

My Grandfather served in the trenches in WW1 and they were attacked with Mustard Gas which followed him after the war. His grandfather fought for the Union in the Civil war, and there are many more.

Mentioned above is The Lost Battalion and here is the link to the movie telling the story of this group and the impact their bravery had on ending the war.
