It is a common mistake made at all levels of society and across the political spectrum, but to expect Leftist organizers to recognize that and focus it appropriately is asking too much.
They get ranks wrong, unit designations wrong, ship and aircraft types wrong and even went so far as to have images of the Russian navy at their party convention a while back instead of American vessels.

At the opening when Sense included Capitol Police in the list of those that lost their lives defending the country I knew I would be shutting it down which I have.
I don’t think that is an unreasonable characterization.
I have watched this concert every year since 1995. My wife and i attended this concert in 1997 while we were dating- it was a life changing experience.
When i saw they were not doing the concert in front of a live crowd and doing it in different areas around the nation i turned it off. I watched the Indy 500 earlier today- another one of my favorite events- and watched 135,000 mostly maskless people who were not social distancing have a great time watching an incredible race.
There’s no reason not have people on the lawn of the Capital for the concert other than left wing nonsense. I’m also afraid they will ruin the concert by perpetuating the lies of a “riot” at the Capital on January 6, and i will punch a hole through my TV screen.
I have to opt out of this thread, I am feeling entirely too negative right now, and can’t contribute constructively.
Anything with PBS just throws me off the rails.

They did just that out of the chute when Sinise lumped the Capitol Police deaths(what ever they were) in with military men and women and 1st responders deaths.
Sinise has been at the concert every year for the past dozen or so years. Last year’s “concert” was nothing more than a highlight show from the previous 15 years.
