Not meaning to be cruel. . .but you should agree, “I am a lawyer” is funny.
Seriously not meaning to be cruel, but citing your (alleged) profession as some sort of end-all-I-am-a-gawd-on-all-legal-questions, is not the best way to get your point across.
Really, anyone can claim to be anyone on the net. And besides, for bucks a “lawyer” will argue whatever side pays them. Not an honorable/moral thing to do.
Right is right, wrong is wrong, the law is the law, but you can find a lawyer to argue any side if you pay them enough, civil or criminal.
Cheers.
Actually, that was a pretty silly response by you. When making a point on a legal (or accounting or engineering or HVAC repair, etc.) issue, it’s pretty important to state one’s credentials for doing so. I have actually studied the Constitution and the relevant cases on the First Amendment. I doubt there are more than one or two others on this thread who have done so.
I see in your posts 65 and 66 that you have no problem giving wrong legal advice. No wonder you don’t like it when an actual lawyer appears in a thread you’re on.
