They can equivocate and signify all they want but every man and woman on the street know that Biden caused gasoline prices to soar. They aren't buying the spin. In fact Biden has stated that he wants to put the oil companies out of business (in addition to natural gas and coal producers).

It has become quite obvious that these days, any person or group who calls themselves "Fact Checkers" are not interested in presenting the truth, but are "checking" the facts: as in the second definition of verb (used with object):

I remember a budget guy once gave me an explanation for why the actuals came in higher than forecasted. Someone corrected him and said the actuals came in lower than forecast. He then instantly gave a rationale for the underrun.

The U.S. media cannot be trusted on anything. They are simply the propaganda wing of the Democrat party and will spew the party line and protect its members. It seems our government agencies are the same, as are big tech.

This is called: fact-checking the AP fact-checkers.

The problem with the liberal fact-checkers is that, they only fact-check when republicans deride a policy implemented by liberals. IOW, the fact-checking by liberals is meant to always defend the indefensible liberal idiocies.

The AP would also do a fact-check against republicans and right-leaning media, where they blame the massive border crossings on the Biden administration’s decision to open the borders and remove all of Trump’s policies which were very effective in stopping the illegal alien crossings. The AP_ would find a way to blame Trump, just like Biden has done.
