It’s probably the only reasonable free way left to properly communicate with text or video with its messenger and WhatsApp products that people ACTUALLY use. No one really uses Viber or Telegram or the others. .
It’s free on prepaid data in a lot of the world (most people outside the US cannot get a post-paid account)
And outside the US, businesses use WhatsApp (a Facebook company) for most of their communications.
Facebook blocked anyone who posted that Covid-19 originated from a Wuhan lab.
They now changed that because the Democrats changed their stand on the issue.
