My poor Fiancé just texted me and is really pissed off. She works for Bancorp South bank which is headquartered in Mississippi. She works at a branch in Mississippi. They just sent out an email stating that employees who have been vaccinated no longer need to wear a mask and anyone who has not been vaccinated must continue to wear a mask. If you lie about it you could be terminated.
Last week corporate sent out an email asking the employees if they had been vaccinated and if not why not. If they were planning to get vaccinated ...when did they think they would get the vaccination and did the employees think that vaccinations should be mandated for employees. I told her she can either lie and take a chance on being terminated, stand her ground and wear the mask or find another job.
I just texted my fiancé back and told her she needs to take a day off of work and tell her Boston she went to the doctor regarding some breathing issues she has been experiencing. Tell her boss the doctor told her she cannot wear a mask all day due to the effect it is having on her health and if they try to fire her for that then she needs to sue based on the Americans with disabilities act.
Tell her to find another job. Everyone is looking for help. Whatever she decides she must never get the vaccine. I’d rather be out of a job then having that poison injected into me.
