If you think they are daydreaming you haven't been paying attention! I said when President Trump left the White House, he and his family needed to leave...freakin' leave the country...asylum somewhere...anywhere. I wouldn't have thought less of him, I would have actually considered him prudent. President in absentia!

Instead he stayed and we are expecting him to fight the political battle while we do nothing.

The U.S. Constitution requires extradition of wanted ‘criminals’ Florida’s extradition statute notwithstanding. I know that some years back California balked at extraditing someone charged in the South over the claim that he or she couldn’t get a fair trial. I don’t know how that turned out.

If NY, whose Atty General campaigned on ‘getting Trump and his family’ or the Fulton Co. DA charges Trump with a crime, he will have to face the charges. States have sovereign rights and all of that. But I don’t think it will end well. It appears that several local political prosecutors have a banana republic attitude towards those they disagree with.
