how old are your cans?....they can last a long time...if you are concerned, cook them on the stovetop til they are boiling and then cook for a full 10"...

but I have to say that I have overbought over the years....some has been wasted, but consider it an insurance policy you didn't use, but still paid for....PEACE OF MIND.

Geez they are several years past the expiration date
I opened an ‘evaporated milk can’ to see how it looked to possibly use in my coffee one day since I was out of creamer & milk. It wasn’t a pretty sight.

The storage of canned goods in the basement became an ‘out of sight/out of mind’ situation. But, since I’m redoing the basement and clearing out stuff, it’s finally time to deal with it.
